Cesar, you are absolutely right. My critisms are ignored when I made personal remarks. Sometimes my I type before I think. (I can spell...I am just a lousy typist) My apologies to you and especially Anita. My critisms of her as a fighter are accurate and anyone in the fight game would agree however few could defend my personalcritisms of her. When I heard her talk crap...I guess I just got a little carried away. Thanks Cesar,...in the future I will choose my words more carefully. If you know Anita I suggest you or someone else work with her...she is a tough girl and would benefit geatly from some serious coaching. Anyway, peace to you and thanks for setting me straight.

LOL!!! W.T.F. WTF??? I see the need to clear something up for you. My comment was “Don’t concern yourself with all the negative comments posted by bitter, ignorant jokers that instead of posting positive constructive criticism feel the need to berate actual active fighters who have the will and valor to step into the ring. These jokers are a dime a dozen! As we all know failure teaches success and experience comes at the cost of mistakes” and it was directed towards you and your asinine, childish and classless way of expressing your “professional” opinion. Comments you made such as “No...just look at her. She looks as though she fellfrom the ugly tree and hit every branch. Listen her.....can you say she doesn't sound like an illterate ghetto queen?” and “If you disagree I would argue that you are just another one of Rodrigues' family that swarms to this site in favor of that neanderthal woman. If you have 20/20 vision ...nothing I said is false...perhaps you are "blinded" by bias? OR you just do know a damn thing about MMA. I however do and ANYONE with two eyes and an ounce of training will agree...she is just a grunting cave woman. Did she even graduate HS? If she did...it just goes to show you the sad sad state of public schools. Look at her, point out her "skills" listen her....what did I say that isn't true???” really do reflect poorly not only on you as a “professional” fighter/instructor/referee or whatever the current profession is but as well as any organizations you are affiliated with. I bet if Gina Carano was to lose versus Cyborg you would say “Ahhhh Gina lost because she was too pretty”….This is a forum where anyone can express their own opinion whether positive or negative. While most of us do it in a positive manner, others like you do not. In no instance was my intention to disrespect either one of the fighters. They gave it their best as expected and as in any battle their can only be 1 winner. Both are very capable fighters and the better fighter won that night. By the way, there is a feature in Microsoft Word that allows you to check your spelling and grammar since it appears they didn’t teach spelling, grammar nor punctuation at the high school you graduated from…

No Seth,...I gave background to give demonstrate that I know what I am talking about. Notice how you didn't dispute any of my critisms that I laid out. Perhaps you are knowledgable enough to know that they are honest and accurate. Or myabe you don't know and can't counter them. Notice how noone disputes the actual critisms. I am knowledgable but to be honest you don't have to be to see that Rodrigues skills are minimal. She outclassed the girl in this fight hands down....but that isn't really saying much now is it? Cesar said "don't concern yourself with all the negative comments". You see THAT is the porblem. How is she going to get better? Can you honestly tell me that if someone taught her how to punch straight she would be a much better stand up fight with more power and accuracy?? Can argue with the facct that if she learned to shoot and use technique in her takedwons she wouldn't find her self in more advantagious ground positions? Or do you think she should stick with the schoolyard head lock throw. Seth....do you even KNOW how to counter that? Evidently not or maybe you would help her. Watch her ground game...she uses her size and strength. Very little technique. Can anyone argue that she wouldn't be closer to the definition of a champion if she added some BJJ to her repetoire? Listen to her interview....does THAT sound like a champion? She doesn't have a clue how much she doesn't know and yet Seth defends her and doesn't know it either evidently. Pretty ridiculous people. I would bother to comment any further on Anita's lack of skills or poor attitude. I think it's pretty clear but for her friends and family on here....you are doing her a great disservice but defending the indefensible. She needs ALOT of work. Until then...she will use her cavewoman techniques and someday fight a real pro and she will get hurt. Peace!

Great Job Anita! Keep up the good work! Don’t concern yourself with all the negative comments posted by bitter, ignorant jokers that instead of posting positive constructive criticism feel the need to berate actual active fighters who have the will and valor to step into the ring. These jokers are a dime a dozen! As we all know failure teaches success and experience comes at the cost of mistakes. Tessa should take this loss and learn from her mistakes. Tapping out was her choice and hers alone. She obviously chose not to continue to fight once she recognized that she was outclassed by a better fighter and obviously you were the better fighter. Let them keep talking…if they want a rematch give it to them. I wonder what excuse they would make for her then once the referee raises your arm in victory…again!

Interview was great.. yes this fight was not about money what so ever.. all about respect from the people in Austin... there were a lot of people there supporting Tessa...Anita had to prove herself.. and that is exactly what was done.. many fights yet to come.. many more interviews to come.. the fear was set in Tessa's eyes way before the fights that night started.. i saw it when the Pit Bull show was still going on.. lol.. GET ON HER LEVEL.. PG DOING IT BIG... great interview...

Ok Cammy,..Rodrigues throws no straight punches. Can you dispute that? Her takedowns in ever fight thatI have watched on youtube are nothing skillful. They are effective on unknowledgable opponents only. Her leg kicks aren't crisp but they do have power. As far as an armber goes,...I taught my daughter that same armbar when she was 6 and now that she is 12....I would laugh at any 12 year old boy that tried anythin funny on her. That arm bar is taught for white belts. Purple belt...have you ever heard of gyms caught belt factories? The belts are given out so easy these day that they lose their meaning. Tessa was awful. Whebn I was a blue belt I beat 2 purple belts and one brown belt. When I had earned my purple belt I one a grappling tournament beating a brown and two black belts. It was that I was THAT great...it's just that the opportunity arose and I acted on it. What I don't like is that people calling her a champion. When she opens her mouth does she sound like a champion. With her obvious limited skill it gets annoying listening to her or her friends and family on this sight. Especially after watching the judges GIVE her, her last victory in the rematch against Sitzes. That was a bad call and every body that I have showed that fight to that either coach or fight MMA agrees. Now...I don't fight anymore but I kickboxed for 5 years and fought MMA in 4 amateur and 14 pro fights. I have a brown bit in jiujitsu and my muy thai is still very strong. I have spent years training fights and now I judge for the state that I live in. I am certified for three years now having gone to 3 state certifications and the UFC school once. I know what the hell I am talking about. I now reiterate what I said before...what did I say that was untrue? Nothing. Rodrigues has no future in this sport against real pros and unless she starts getting her attitude in check and training in a real school. THEN her toughness and heart will make all the difference and she will have a real shot at being a champion instead of just being a "Toughwoman" contender. End of story

WTF, this is what you quoted in reference to Tessa "..she cant fight though"
I think that's the only thing you said that's related to fighting (except that I don't know anything about it and that you think Anita is a bruiser - and if that was the case a purple belt in jiu jitsu should be able to destroy that, but she didn't, which has to prove that she is more than that) and I don't even agree with your statement. I'm not on here to dog on fighters or make insults that have nothing to do with fighting.

No I'm not related to the Rodriguez family, but I did watch the fight. Tessa is a decent fighter, and that's why Anita deserves the credit of her win - and Anita won because she fought better. Both had the same amount of time to train for the fight, Tessa is a purple belt in jiu jitsu, they have both fought 2 pro fights, and they will both learn from this one - but Anita fought better and she won the fight.
The facts I pointed out in my previous post were to refute your following comment "The only skills Rodrigues has are she is tough, she has decent leg kicks and she is strong". She tapped out a purple belt with an arm bar. So I think she has more skills than that. Is there something wrong with being tough, having good leg kicks, and being strong? You'd think you'd want those things. And both fighters, Anita and Tessa, have not reached their full potential. You learn from your loses AND you learn from your wins and both will become better from it.
Stop hating WTF. Support your fighter but not at the expense of another, especially of one who trains hard and deserves recognition for her hard fought win.
You are kind of me off, but I'm not going to insult you personally because I don't know you. If you want people to respect what you have to say, how about giving constructive criticism. It's hard enough getting in the cage and putting yourself on the line. We all know you think Tessa is pretty. But that doesn't have much to do with fighting. Say something that actually edifies and is worth the time reading. If you know so much about fighting watch the fight and give constructive advice.

No...just look at her. She looks as though she fellfrom the ugly tree and hit every branch. Listen her.....can you say she doesn't sound like an illterate ghetto queen? Watch her fight....do you know ANYTHING about fighting...she is a bruiser...there is VERY little skill there. I live several States away so I don't know "Tessa". She is however alot better looking...she cant fight though. If you disagree I would argue that you are just another one of Rodrigues' family that swarms to this site in favor of that neanderthal woman. If you have 20/20 vision ...nothing I said is false...perhaps you are "blinded" by bias? OR you just do know a damn thing about MMA. What's all this talk about Anita not having any skills or technique? If Tessa had more skill she would have come out the champion. I think technique is involved when controlling your opponent from side control then tapping out a purple belt with an arm bar. If Tessa wasn't ready to fight why did she take it? Tessa and Anita both came in with 2 fights under their belt, Tessa has a purple belt in BJJ, and she had just as much time to train for this fight as Anita. No excuses on this one. I think both these girls will learn from this fight to become better fighters. And Anita came out the better fighter on this one. She has heart for this sport and she's going to go far. Way to go Anita!

Im telling you shes going to end biting a little more then she can chew one day. Oh and have fun in valley Anita against another debuting girls who has no fights to their name.... Oh and if Anita loses im sure its cause she got "robbed" lol ....

i don't even know Tessa but i can tell you she was not ready to fight. I have to agree with WTF on everything. It seems like her first fight in Texas was against a girl who was not ready and plus she fights at 115. Its all good though if she keeps fighting in Texas shes bound to meet up with a fighter truly better then she is. Also maybe her friends and family should tell her to not act so dawm ghetto and have some class......

The only skills Rodrigues has are she is tough, she has decent leg kicks and she is strong. Her "takedowns" are school yard bully takedowns. They will not be effective against anyone with any take down defense. He strikes...well she sure throws alot to her credit...but none of them are straight punches and her accuracy is awful. When she gets to fight a real pro...she willget her ass handed to her. Oh...and she is ugly as heck and when she talks she sounded like some ghetto queen who fights over the neighborhood player. Definately not my idea of a "champion". Sorry to tellallthe Rodrigues family that is on here but thats just the truth.
