let me tel u about my experience. i went in there and they promised me that they had great instrutors the best team in miami so on so on.i went i paid my fees wich is not cheap and they dont help u when u want out .went to
5 classes and noticed it was nothing like i was spoken about there was always 4 gangsters there talking about bro this and bro that but no one there to teach those kids how to respect themselves or the sport for now FFa is lacking class and i wil not go back worst 200 spent.i have done some classes in ATT coral springs it looks like they have there stuff together.
I'll admit that the reason i joined FFA was, its near my house.Nice place but i hate attending a class with blue belt instructors . blue belts cant really teach me about fighting maybe conditioning.bottom line they have a bunch of hoodlum kids teaching the classes.that makes me uncomfortable,i joined to protect myself from these type of people.where can i go to get a real teacher that has a little pro experience or that is at least 30 years old that will at lease make me think, that im being tough by some experienced. at 21 how much experience can you really have..or knowledge because the only people teaching in ffa are blue belt kids(hoodlums).i looked for their instructors online and i think most of them are what they call FFA BLUE BELTS? . they are all in the early 20's and as an older man i feel stupid knowing these kids just started a year or two ago.they also talk about macros and David Avalon but when i asked about their classes the said they don't host any,plus their in another country for 4 months so now im here with kids teaching me crap.what should i do.looking to learn but noteven 30 days free will make me stay here.

like iv said all over this blog i'm not a part of any gym but after reading and thinking about everything i tried ffa . in the first day of my 30 days free i saw some of the best technic i had ever seen "CLEANING THE MATS" and" "cleaning the bathrooms "the instructors their have a black bet in MAT SCRUBBING.changed my mind .im gonna try young tigers now.
first of all the mfa fight was never a rematch for all the people that do not the history, when we met in naga we were on the same team and ya he beat me when I was 16years old and after the fact I just won the advance division in my w8 class and then bumped up to the mens division in witch tulio was my third opponent, but back to the point that was a grappling match dec13 was mix martial arts therefor it was not the rematch it was the match. And for the record I never challenged tulio when I received the fight contract tulios name was already on it so in a way he called me out, just wanted to clear that up. Getting back on topic, I don't know either fighter, nor care. The fight was good. It did look like Tulio got poked in the 1st round, but what the hell did that have to do with getting swept in the 2nd? The fight didn't end by KO so why is anyone even talking about the eye poke? Lets be serious folks, both fighters did well, and one fighter won fair and square. Accidents happen in fights, as a fighter its your job to end the fight decisively. Life goes on folks. NEXT!
Thats true becuase man Mike Cardoso use to be from ffa until he screwed around literly and got him and Nori kicked out of by Marcos. Since then its all hate for anybody who leave ffa/ sad.

i use to go to ffa sometime ago before they got all commercial and all i can say is that they never had a ground game. have ok wrestling but no basic jujistsu not trying to start nothing just saying whats on my mind . with that said l like ffa as far as the facilty gos but ther staff is over hyped . dnot know much about the other camp but best wishes to tulio in hes life
i train with el trige for my striking and i know mike cardoso for jujitsu.....cardoso came from ffa ,who taught alot to marcos and david...hte screen fliped and marcos siad that he trained and teached mike cardoso for his sucuess....say that had a grappling match and cardoso put him in a choke and made him tap.....fair and square.......david and marcos are very humble and i give them respect credit for their accomplishedments.........but for a reason everybody migrated from ffa to start thier own and ffa his mad cuz of that......peace or war but do it for money .......no money no fight........watch out for upcoming fighters from young tigers camp such as markus the elusive suarez and martin the warrior castro.....just to name a few

And now all of this animosity. Its too bad its gotten this way. If they would work together instead of argue, together they could produce some of the best fighters in the state of Fl. With the Tigers striking and the FFA Ground game!!

To be honest, there might not be any fighters from any of the 2 schools. I would not doubt that these are school kids, who's brothers train at the gyms. And so they are starting a war between the schools. A war in which none of the fighters are probably aware of..... Thats just my guess....

I agree with Anonymous Coward. Is that really Erick Castanos? Thats whats wrong with the martial arts nowadays. Schools are being ran by fighters and not true masters who appreciate the real principles of the martial arts such as honor and integrity. He seems really confident that the head instructors of FFA are posting here but what if they aren't? He is here airing dirty laundry on the internet and talking about people's wives and all this was probably instigated by a fifteen year old to do it. Pathetic. I agree completely with Anonymous Coward, I would expect this kind of behavior from teens or friends of either fighter, not from a 40 year old world champion.

Tulio fue una gran pelea no importa por lo que fue certificado medico o no marco lo pudo haber hecho como mismo lo hacia con sus peleadores viejos que tenia que falsificaba los papeles yo se todo.

ffa has only send two fighters to big shows. 1. charles mcarthy he got k.o.in the ufc 2. david avellan in the w.e.c got k.o 15 sec. infront of his home town. now tulio gets beat or goes in to fetal position like someone put it earlier in american airlines again in his hometown. that the bottom line is thats why this thread really started, this is just fustration being vented.

People are doing a lot of talking about everybody but not 1 of you guys put your name or who you are. Looking at it from the outside these are the facts; Young Tiger foundation is a stand up school. So, obviously it would be a little difficult to create a complete fighter from the ground up. Yet, still people go from every gym and from all around the world to come train with "El Tigre" including, FFA. Example, David Avalon "Knock out of the night recipient" in his WEC debut, Efrain (who won his first fight in 3 years recently) , Marcos (the grappler who doesn't like to get punched in the face), & a handful of others. Which lived to train with "El Tigre" plus, use "EL Tigre" to this day for marketing and recognition. Example: putting a picture of "El Tigre" & "Jermain Taylor" with the Avalon's inside "El Tigre's" gym in the FFA book. Using Jorge Masvidal's picture like he's training there and Kimbo (which went to FFA 3 times). Lastly, all of you that are saying these things have either trained with, want to train with, or were pissed when you were not ALOUD to train with "El Tigre". The worst thing of it all, is that "El Tigre" has an open door policy in his gym for anybody because of his love for the sport. Which, is his best quality...Those are the facts of FFA...

As far as ATT is concerned whichever ignorant person that said ATT has not built a fighter is exactly that, ignorant. Obviously, they are not aware of their standing in the MMA world. People come from all over the world "literally" to train with ATT. ATT has at least one fighter in every MMA event that goes down. The reason everybody chants ATT in all the events is A: they win B: they're in every event C: the ATT family is very large and loyal.
So, in closing instead of everyone being a Blog nerd go out there; train hard, fight hard, win, and then you won't have to be a blog nerd anymore; your fighting will speak for itself.

UR DADY what I am gonna say from reading this board is that 'LOL' is the only guy so far to make an attack on Alex's gym, however, there are like a hundred attacks on FFA on here. My point is that if anybody is hating on anyone, its you guys on FFA. With the exception of 'LOL', I don't see FFA hating on anyone else. To be honest, the only reason why I would be going for Tulio is just because of all the trash talk coming towards FFA from you guys, which seems to be coming out of nowhere.

Well, when it comes to FFA, either you love them or you hate them. But no one can take away from the fact that they have great fighters. Overall they have a record of 107-32 in mma and kickboxing combined... Not too shabby!!!!!

Tulio was more than a match for bruce, bruce was getting his fro shook left to right, Tulio dominated the fight so much, that if you pay attention the whole fight is mostly in Tulio's corner. You are right Luis. No one is taking anything away from Alex. He's a good fighter. But Tulio has harder and more accurate strikes, and way more submissions than Alex. Hopefully there will be a rematch!
i dont think alex dominated he just threw more kicks in the first half which none of them were lethal just nice kicks. tulio landed solid punches which u can tell alex felt also tulio had more submission attemps and take down too bad for the poked eye otherwise tulio would have been more agressive and different ending thats for sure. noone is hating just looking at the facts alex is good but tulio is way better fighter

I had the camera on and pointed toward the cage, but it had an error just before the knockout kick, it could not have happened at a worse time, I am looking into a new camera but this is what I have for now, I am really sorry but there was nothing I could do about it. Maybe try contacting MFA because as you can see they had camera guys on the cage.

It did look like Tulio got poked in the 1st round, but what the hell did that have to do with getting swept in the 2nd? The fight didn't end by KO so why is anyone even talking about the eye poke? As far as ATT is concerned whichever ignorant person that said ATT has not built a fighter is exactly that, ignorant. Obviously, they are not aware of their standing in the MMA world. People come from all over the world "literally" to train with ATT. ATT has at least one fighter in every MMA event that goes down. The reason everybody chants ATT in all the events is A: they win B: they're in every event C: the ATT family is very large and loyal.
So, in closing instead of everyone being a Blog nerd go out there; train hard, fight hard, win, and then you won't have to be a blog nerd anymore; your fighting will speak for itself.
