I will agree that Urijah is not the savior that some people thought he was, but to say that he is just not that good is flat out stupid. Instead of talking about how unworthy he and Mike Brown are lets talk about how far ahead of everyone else Jose Aldo is. Aldo is a stud and there are no 2 ways about it. By your logic we might as well say that everyone at middleweight besides Anderson Silva is not that good then, because the way I see it both of those fighters are head and shoulders above anyone else in their division. |

Well, the fight has happened and Uriah Faber has lost. Can the debate finally end and the truth stated that Uriah Faber is not a complete fighter and definitely not of champion level skill to compete with modern fighters? I am surprised that Mike Brown was put to bed by Manny. That loss and Brown's loss to Aldo sadly shows that he is of a lower caliber as well, though, anyone can get caught and I may be inclined to excuse Uriah's first loss to Mike Brown with that. However, the 2nd loss to Brown pretty much cinched it. And now the loss to Aldo by Faber seals the deal. He's just not that good. |

faber and aldo is an exciting fight. brown was able to beat faber twice and aldo smoked brown but because of fabers speed and his skill set he may just pull it off against aldo i envision a lot of fast paced grappling and striking exchanges i give the striking advantage to aldo and grappling to faber watch close it may not last long! |

No doubt Aldo is a great fighter. This fight is going to be very exciting to say the least. For you Aldo fanboys, yes Aldo has ripped right through the division, but then you need to realize that there aren't any decent fighters in the division. He has not fought anyone nearly as capable as Faber. Aldo certainly does pose a threat to Faber but it will not be as easy of a kill as what he's been through already. And yes, Brown has a strong hand, but thats all. He is not a well rounded fighter so I don't think he should get 100% credit for beating Faber (maybe just 50%). He banks on landing a solid punch to win the bout..he won Faber2 because of Fabers hand. |

I think any one picking urijah, doenst know fighting at all, just going by the popular fighter in the wec. Aldo is going to destroy him. I guess if urijah does lose people will just come up with how aldo got lucky or whatever. I dont want to hear that broken hand stuff, part of being a good fighter is not throwing blows that could injure yourself. Did mike brown brake his hand? No, bc he is not stupid. If you sustain an injury that affects your ability to fight then just quit, I would rather have that then for that fighter to lose then give excuses. |

first off i dont think brown even realy deserved the belt,he got lucky on number 1 and on number 2 fabor broke his hand or arm.also i think aldo was on a completely difrent striking game then brown.but to anser the question i think aldo would do very good leg kicks and box very well but fabor would have good takedowns and ground and pound.but fabor will want to stay safe and stay out of reach because aldo is a mini silva to me lol....we should look for fabor to win tho |

i think faber/aldo would be more entertaining than the brown/aldo fight. i think faber could learn from aldo's approach to brown. aldo kept brown at a distance with great kicks and snap-quick punches on the inside. he also avoided take-downs very well. in their fights, faber seems to fight brown on browns terms but if he took a page from the aldo book and imposed his will, really used his dynamic attributes, and had his hands (unblemished/broken) he would beat brown and could give aldo one hell of a fight. in other words i think faber's style will match up better with aldo, make for a more exciting fight and quite possibly go in faber's direction. |

California kid is a little bit too much of a poster boy. He is cute with is little goldie locks and chin dimple. But when the fight is over, Jose will have knocked his a$$ into Mexico and given him a few more dimples to sport (one on his forehead and one one each cheek) |

After seeing Jose Aldo's impressive title fight victory over WEC featherweight champ Mike Brown I wonder what people would think about a fight between former champ Urijah Faber and Jose Aldo. It seemed to me that it was the quickness and speed of Aldo which was too Mike for the stronger Brown, and as we have seen Urijah Faber has a lot of speed and quickness himself which would make for a pretty entertaining fight between these 2 featherweight studs. So what do you think about a possible match up between Aldo and Faber, how to you see the fight going and who do you see coming out on top?
