I have Edgar in the rematch...Frankie has improved very much since their first fight two and a half years ago, while I have not seen Gray improve or add much to his skill set over that time. |

Should be an interesting battle between two wrestlers. I am just curious how, if they cancel each others' wrestling out, what skill ends up being the deciding factor. |

Gray is going to try and make it the most boring fight, luckily Edgar is a wrestler and Gray won't be able to just take him down and lay on him like he does against everybody else |

With Frankie Edgar taking out BJ Penn once again, and Gray Maynard getting past Kenny Florian it looks like we are set for a showdown between Edgar and Maynard for the UFC lightweight title. Maynard is the sole loss on the champion Edgar's record dating back to a fight between the two at Ultimate Fight Night 13 over 2 years ago which he won by unanimous decision.
This next fight could be different as I could see Frankie giving him more trouble than he did last time. But Gray Maynard is still a force in the lightweight division and nobody has had an Answer for his style, let's see if Edgar can do it. This fight between 2 D1 wrestlers will be an interesting one, Gray is known for using his superior wrestling to grind out victories while Frankie used a good deal of stand up in both of his victories against BJ with a few takedowns mixed in there.
What are your thoughts on this match up? Will Gray be able to impose his will on the champion and grind out a victory to earn the belt, or will Edgar be able to come up with a game plan tailored to shut down his opponent's strength like he did with BJ?
