UFC fighter Alan Belcher talks about the state of wrestling in the state of Mississippi right now and it how it is very scarce. There is currently only one wrestling team in the state and they have to do a lot of traveling to other states to compete. The mats that originally had are now at a community center and the high school does not have access to them anymore. They are looking to buy some used mats from someone so that they can do their part to spread wrestling to their community and hopefully eventually through out their state.

I had the opportunity to do a wrestling clinic for Grady Brown and some of his wrestlers this summer. Grady is the man and I believe he will be an answer to a trivial pursuit question some day!! Mississippi is a tough state and once the surrounding areas get exposed to wrestling its just a matter of time before the culture builds itself. Keep up the great work Belcher!! Belcher on three!! 1-2-3 BELCHER!!!!!!!!!thanks for your support. me and bader were just talking about you the same day. grady spoke well about your camp. i watch all your videos on flowrestling, you have great energy and really influence kids positively. thanks again for your help. alan belcher |
