Headlining the July show are two of Omaha�€™s heaviest hitters, Abe Wagner(8-4) and Justin Grizzard(3-6). Wagner is coming off a Big Win back in January with his K.O. of Former UFC Heavy Weight Champion Tim Sylvia, While Grizzard is riding a 3 Fight Win Streak. The two VFC veterans will slug it out to see who gets to wrap the VFC Heavyweight belt around their waist at the end of the night. With two heavyweights who are always looking for the KO, this fight promises to be explosive

In the evening�€™s co-main event, Joe Ellenberger, twin brother of UFC star, Jake Ellenberger, looks to start his journey back to the Victory Fight Championship lightweight title he had to vacate due to a rare and potentially life threatening blood disease. Always a fighter, Joe refused to quit and attacked the sickness as fiercely as he would one of his opponents; on July 30th he continues the fight by climbing back into the VFC�€™s cage.

The rest of the evening�€™s card promises to be just as exciting. Two crafty veterans, poised to prove that age is just a number and determined to make a run at a VFC title, will square when retired Omaha Police Department officer and coach at Omaha�€™s Premier Combat Center, Joe Baudler battles Ernest Bell from Hutchinson, KS. The always aggressive Drew Dober resumes his climb towards title contention and one of Omaha�€™s most popular and exciting amateur fighters, Mirsad Bektic, will make his pro debut. 9-0 as an amateur, Bektic has never had a fight go to the judges; he brings a mountain of momentum with him to this �€˜must see�€™ debut. In addition, VFC 34 Fight of the Night winner Corey Roberts will be making his 135lb pro debut against another VFC 34 Fighter Tharron Ockenga who returns to his normal weight.

The amateur undercard features 6th ranked Brad Anderson(7-2) Who is coming off a win at VFC 34 and Moving up the Amatuer Ranks. Jacob Keifer and Miles Marshall will slug it out while Keifer puts his undefeated record on the line and Marshall continues to Rise in the Midwest. Female sensation Sarah McLeod(2-2-1) will look to maintain the momentum from her move to Omaha by notching another victory.

From start to finish, this is a card that fight fans do not want to miss. The VFC has continually been committed to putting on exciting fights with match-ups the fans want to see. In this first event of the Super Summer Series, they have not disappointed. When asked how he plans to match the excitement of this card come September, VFC owner Ryan Stoddard simply smiled and said �€œI have no clue, but we will.�€

In the evening's co-main event, Sean "P-Town" Wilson (26-15) and Joe "Nose" Wilk (10-5) look to "settle their differences" inside the square cage. The two fighters, both familiar to VFC fans, have a genuine rivalry and promise an entertaining 145 pound battle that is sure to be remembered.

The event will also include the professional debuts of several local favorites such asBrandon Pfannenstiel, Corey Clinebell, and Brian Houston and will start with a full under card of amateur fights featuring a battle of undefeated prospects Mirsad Bektic (8-0) Vs Dustin Zahorsky (7-0).

Hailing from Western Nebraska, Donavon Winters has put together an impressive Mixed Martial Arts resume. After playing collegiate football at Doane College, Winters posted a 20-4 amateur record. Since turning pro, the 22 year old has sought out top quality training ranging from Omaha to as far as Jeremy Horn's gym in Utah.

Drew Dober carried a perfect record and steamrolled through all competition to become the nation�€™s number one amateur lightweight. Now a successful pro, Dober is looking to ride the momentum he gained from his recent win over top prospect Bobby Cooper on the Titan Fighting Championship: Sylvia vs Wagner card in Kansas City. The winner of FIGHT! Magazine�€™s Full Time Fighter contest, Dober has experienced training at the highest level of the sport at gyms such as Xtreme Couture and Team Quest. The Mid-America Martial Arts product will look to put his celebrated Muay Thai skills on display in another high energy performance.

Sean Wilson, training out of Premier Combat Center, has been providing fans exciting fights since his first scrap in the VFC back in 2002. His preference to stand and bang with opponents has supplied some of the most memorable and crowd pleasing fights in the history of the promotion. While �€œP-Town�€ is consistently one of the most entertaining fighters inside the cage, his hope is to silence Wilk, unquestionably the most entertaining fighter outside it.

Joe Wilk is a Gracie Barra Brown belt and is equally skilled at inciting a crowd. Wilk combines memorable cage walks and high level grappling to create entertaining fights. The VFC and Srikeforce Challenger Series veteran, fights out of Combat Sports Center in Manhattan Kansas is making his fourth appearance in the promotion.
