Chael's biggest moment in wrestling was the match he won to make him an all-american at the NCAA division 1 wrestling tournament. The preparation shortly before that match and before a big UFC fight is more mental now than it was then. Once the fight starts he can't remember anything about it and has to watch it on video later. In his last fight against Nate Marquardt Chael didn't even remember being interviewed by Joe Rogan in the cage afterward.

Wow that's crazy that he doesn't remember that interview, I wonder how much of it was because he never remembers and how much of it was because of the war he just went through with Marquardt
