And if that's what BABY BOOM gave from just 1 1/2- 2 weeks of training, just wait til the next!!! We know what's real, like coach said 20% training & 80% heart!!!!! He didn't train like he was supposed to because he didn't know until 1 week before the fight that he would REALLY be fighting because he didn't have everything complete!! But don't worry, everything is READY now and he'll have plenty time to train for the next one!!

@ Silverback Coach- That's what i'm talking about!!!!! They both know where they were weak that's why they have something called TRAINING to get ready for the next!!!! @The others- This was both of their 1st fights & they both did a damn good job!!!!! & For that "illegal" stuff they say BABY BOOM did, the ref didn't call it cuz it WASN'T ILLEGAL!!! Talk what you know & learn the rules before you start talking & making excuses!!!! IT IS WHAT IT IS, BABY BOOM GOT HANDS & MARTIN IS GOOD ON THE GROUND......They both have their strengths & weaknesses!!!! Don't worry, Baby Boom WILL be ready for the next fight!!!!

No matter what anybody says, we can give our opinion. We are giong for our fighter, u are giong for yrs. But the bottom line is that, they got in that cage and fought there butts off. All I have to say is, that they both fought very well for amatuer fighters. Getting in that cage takes a lot of nerves and heart. So no matter what we say, they got in there and fought for them selfs. Twenty percent training eigthy percent heart, lots of love for both kids. Stop talking, and give them their respect. That's what I teach at my school, win or lose we fight with respect.

alex, it was a good fight and it could of gone either way bro. as long as there is a mutual respect, people will always have their opinions. I couldnt of asked for a better fight, it was a war, which is what we wanted. yes i had some good take down, yes you had some awesome knees that still hurt, hahaha. It was my first fight and i was nervous, i sprained my foot at the end of the second round thats why i tried staying on the ground in the third, i am not making any excuses or taking away from alex's victory

Garcia could have won that fight very easily if he would have followed through and held his position (side control) after those EASY takedowns. Martinez ground game was very weak, Garcia pretty much gave him that triangle and Martinez was clueless. However good fight between those two amateur fighters...Ps. L Mungia: I dont know what fight were you watching.

Looks like both of the fighters were getting tired but especially Garcia.

Garcia didn't know what to do once he got Martinez down.
Martinez had good stand up but needs to improve his take down defense.
No one should get taken down that easily.
Garcia was taking him down at will.

Yo no disrespect to martin it was a good fight he had good take downs I had good strikes in da clinch. I never did nothing illegal the ref talked to us b4 da fight so I knew wat I could do. If u ask 10 people 5 would pick me 5 would pick him that's what happens wen u go to decsion

ME 2 years ago

Both fighters did good, I thought Marin should of won the fight especially considering the fact that Alex through illegal elbows on two separate occasions. I can't believe the ref didn't deduct a point...if he had..Martin would of won that split decision.
