What the hell is this organization?! Making young ladies fight that clearly don't want to and then getting pummeled in front of a live audience?! Ignorance.

HATION/NATION 3 years ago

This is really sad, is it really worth some young lady gettin hurt??? just to sale a few G/A tickets to her family and friends. What a joke, the commission WILL put crap like this out of biz. You could tell she didn't wanna fight, even the ref( probably someones buddy) even noticed this seconds before the fight, but he let it happen so maybe he can ref a fight at this low budget event again. The LFC WAS really big in this area, it has been pissed away, can it be saved, hope they take the new sactions very seriously.... you know the are dying to make an exsample out of someone.

Mark, I think we are better off when they don't even have these shows. I am a huge supporter of MMA and have been since the early90s. I remember the grass roots effots and the cable ban. We have come to far. This fight is a great example of a promoter who is happy to put two people in there and doesn't care that they don't know anything. Judges are now are being certified and trained...we have all worked too hard collectively to still see these types of events. Anyway, keep up the good work, you have a huge fan here!

This fight represented much of the entire night of fighting, I was pretty disappointed with the whole event... there were mismatches left and right, people were smoking cigarettes cageside and they pulled one of my purefight guys out of the crowd and asked him to be a judge... WTF are you kidding me.... and on top of that people were scoring their friends' fights...

Events like this are not good for MMA if you ask me

wtf 3 years ago

so you think you can do better.....stop talking about it and be about it go climb in the ring with them......dont be scared....at least they are trying......i think your all cowards to talk and not know what its really like did you ever stop to think that maybe their coaches put them in there to see what they could do or where they needed to improve...maybe the have kids or health issues because i know that one of them does so grow up and if you dont like it then dont watch it......i think your all childish.....AND TO THE FIGHTERS GOOD JOB LADIES YOU BOTH HAVE HEART....YOU GOT IN THERE AND DID WHAT YOU HAD TO....TO PROVE YOURSELF....TO WIN...AND TO BETTER YOURSELF EVERY SINGLE DAY.... AS A FIGHTER....DONT LET THE HATERS BRING YOU DOWN........CAUSE THEY DONT HAVE THE HEART TO DO WHAT YOU TWO DO EVERY SINGLE DAY GOOD JOB DOBBS AND KIRSTEN YOU BOTH HAVE MY RESPECT

THIS is what gives women's MMA a bad name. Ladies,...wacth Jerry Sitzes or Jenny Yum and ask yourself....."Can I ever fight like that?" if not...then don't continue to give the sport such a bad name. There are alot of young talented badass women out there who train very hard so they will be respected as fighters, this makes a mockery of womens MMA.

WTF 3 years ago

I was fighting back in the early days Chubs. I kickboxed, boxed and fought mma. I was never going to win any belts but I always showed up in shape and ready to rock. I respect your courage, because I do know what it takes but listen to your own words...you "trained" for ONE MONTH and decided to get in the cage???? WHY??? People can see to fat girls street fighting outside the WIC office any day...they don't pay to see ghetto fights (yo) they want to see skilled fighters come in a do their thing. So either stick to the IHOP parking lot at 2 AM or come back when you are in shape and know SOMETHING! IF youwould like I can suggest a load of tough women fighters for you to watch so you can see what a "badass" looks like.

good job to both female fighters, you both have more heart than most i know you have more heart than i do and i have balls.....

brittany 3 years ago

all i have to say is all you cowards that stand and judge try doing what we do.....for your information i have only been training for about a month......so if you think that you cowardly selves can do better sign up and climb in the ring....i never claimed to be a professional just said that i would try and that is what i did so man or women of any weight class bring it on if you think you got what it takes.......i think your all scared little cowards to judge someone else.....when in all reality you dont have the heart to get in there yo

What the hell just happened?

Okay, all I can say about this fight is that both fighters coaches should not have put them in there. Kudos to both of you for stepping in there, because it is easier said than done, but I think more gym time is needed. Hawk, you were changing your stance from regular to southpaw, and also turning your back to Dobbs the whole time. I'm not sure who you train with, but any coach will tell you to NEVER turn away and to circle out. It is obvious by the level you are at, changing stances was more out of experience and not part of the game plan. As even the most elite fighters keep their stance throughout a fight. Dobbs, congratulations on the victory, but I think both you guys need to hit the gym. You were dropping your hands the whole time. The crazy barage of punches at the end worked, but against a seasoned fighter you will be knocked out easy.

LOL 3 years ago

After watching you waddle around and get beat up by someone who was arguably in worse shape than you are and had no actual skill....you will have to forgive me....BaWAHHA HA HA HA HA HA. Sory, what I am trying to say is...NOBODY fears you....NOBODY!

Hey, Brittany, you should WANT them to misspell your name. You were matched against someone who didn't want to fight and you beat here without showing the least amount of skill. None..Nada...Zip. Therefore,..bushido is incredibly innaccurate, you definately are showing no sign of the bushido code with your physique..for example. Why don't we call you Brittany "The Bubble" Hobbs. Meanwhile, I hope that IF you fight again it is againszt someone who is not a twit and WANTS to fight. Then we can call you "the Bruise"

Brittany Dobbs 3 years ago

for future reference my ring name is Brittany" The Bushido" Dobbs they spelled it wrong on this website!
