Hey guys though I'm more naturally suited to lightweight as I walk at the 170 limit and only weighed in at 164.5 for this fight I'm open to all fights its all about getting expirience as an amatuer I'm not gonna fight on the july card more probably in august and if people wanna see me vs drew I'm sure dave will set it up.....drew is a monster and I have loads of respect for his skills as with anyone who's wrestled forever u always go back to what u know and he's comfortable there and its won him fights its just like a boxer coming to mma he's gonna be more confident on his feet and wanna keep it there....so good luck to drew in his future fights hope he keeps on his winning ways....unless he fights me of course then ya know who I'm pulling for lol |

Steve are you kidding me? For 2minutes of ground and pound and probably 100 punches maybe 10landed..Everything else as a mess..For 2 minutes of ground and pound there should be more damage to his face than there is. Obviously Joes your boy and you hate he lost..It happens and he'll come back from it. Drew Sheilds is a monster for 170 but i don't think we'd see a knockout if we saw the same Sheilds that we saw go 3 rounds and get hurt in the 3rd by the dude he foughtunfortunately, up until now Drew was approaching the sport from a one dimensional direction, that being to stay ahead and get the win, but it's not that anymore, now the game plan is to destroy these guys in the most efficient manner possible, fight as often as possible, and hover about 8-10lbs above weight all the time, so anybody in this class can get it. |

I have nothing but respect for both joe and paul reihner i talked to both before and after the fight and they were nothing but a class act and it was an honor to fight joe i wish them nothing but the best in the future fights and ill be cage side cheering them on great people all the people in mma should take from their example in sportsmanship yea we didnt touch gloves but that was something we agreed upon backstage and we touched up there......great fightI enjoyed that fight, you showed platinum fortitude in staying the cause, the key to victory in all things is being the last to give up on YOU, with that said I really think yourself and my man Drew Shields would make for a nice fight from a perspective of varying styles and all, very exciting however enevitably I think he'd knock you out though, if you didnt get him first, I again would like to congratulate you on a gutty win, over a game and worthy challenger, I'm a bit biased about maddog fighters (admittedly), but you made me a Blase Raia fan, thanxz |

IMO the fight COULD have been stopped in the first. It wasn't, That was the ref's choice to let it go on and in the end that is the opinion that matters. Blase did a great job of regaining his cool, and gutting out a win, and you cannot take that away from him. As for Joe, great job with the GNP, but you need to tighten up you sub game. |

Joe punched himself out. Blase covered and moved on his back and avoided alot of punches then he tried 3 submissions in a row and just caught him . Excellent job Blase. Huge win for him |

Blase did a freakin awsome job. He defended himself well and still threw punches from his back. Reihner threw alot of punches but a bunch just hit the mat. Good job Blase ! Great Win |

Blase covered up a few times...Struck back from the bottom a few times..Tried to get out of being mounted..In a sense the fight should have continued whether you believe so or not. He just didnt stay covered up and take punishment the entire time. Props to blase for getting through the first round and tapping him in rd 2 |

WOW! This fight should have def. been stopped! Blase closed his eyes and turned to his side and got pounded on. The ref must be a family member or somethin of Blase's. |

This fight definitely should have been stopped in the first round. This ref screwed up obvious calls on at least three fights last night, and I was really disappointed to see Reihner lose because Raia got one lucky break after he got dominated totally up until that point. I guess that's MMA though. |
