Chad Mendes was 2 days out from his PFC fight and went through a little weight cutting session at his home gym, Ultimate Fitness. His fight is in the Palace FIghting Championship at 145 +1, so 146 and he planned on losing 4-5 pounds in his 1 hour workout.

Chad is a beast give him another year or 2 and he just may contend with Mike Brown for the belt!

Good poing Making Weight. I guess when you don't have to be so disciplined all year long, it's more difficult when reality aproaches.

Yeah but thats around 4 or 5 months straight of makin weight week after week, by then it should be easy to make the weight your at and it should be under control. Having a fight/weighin every 3 or 4 months, its hard to keep it down during that long of periods.

Chad, how did you make scratch 141, only a year ago, three days in a row at the NCAAs and make it all the way to the finals? It must be easy for you to make 146 with day before weigh ins. Good luck, all us wrestlers will be rooting for you!
