Mark is training at Joker's Wild where he trains about 2-3 times a week. When Mark asked MIke Bruno where he could train in southern California and he suggested Joker's Wild. The first time he walked into the gym and asked to train they were going through a wrestling workout where Mark dominated with his NCAA championship wrestling skills. The next day he came back to the gym and Joker called him out on his strong wrestling pedigree. Mark just rolled with Jake Shields before this interview and has worked out with Jake up at Fairfex in San Francisco when he lived up north. He enjoys working with Jake because he has so much to offer in ground technique. He is fighting against Matt Hamill coming up pretty soon where he feels like a win would do wonders for his career and thinks it is a great opportunity. After this fight he feels that dropping to 185 would probably be the right move for him considering he is maybe 6" tall.

I think that is a real testiment to OSU's program and how diverse they are. He is the first Filipino NCAA div I champ. OSU just has an open door and I think that speaks to their success as a national powerhouse. They represent America.
