I had a chance to talk with Mike Brown shortly before the WEC weigh ins. He has been on the road doing some promotional appearances for the WEC and for his upcoming fight against Leonard Garcia in March. Initially he didn't like the idea of traveling and doing promotions because he thought it would cut into his training, but he felt better about it when he learned that Garcia would be going through the same thing. He got to hang out with Leonard Garcia and thinks he is a nice guy and MIke actually prefers when he and his competitors are friendly with each other, although it makes no difference in the end because they each have the same goal. Mike does a little swearing and tries to pretend to be mean... but he just can't pull that one off. His final words... Go Mark Bader!

Wow, never heard Mike Brown act like such a mean guy before, haha.

Gotta love this guy, very down to earth, you get the feeling that no matter how big a name he becomes he will always be a good dude.
