Hey all, a friend of mine was training in columbia missouri in a fighting gym, I dont know if it was this gym, His name is Joe, He is about 5'4 to 5'6, He weights around 100-120 pounds 120 at the most. He has fought three fights he won 2 of them, When he fought the champ for his weight class he lost. He is from festus Mo, or from jefferson city. If anyone knows who I am talking about can you post his full name? Thanks
Bill- Mel passed away quite a few years ago. He was a Columbia tradition in himself. He is still missed by many.
Grappling is the best submission style.
I used to work out in Columbia in the early 80s with Mel Brown. Is he still around there somewhere?
