The weigh in between Thiago Alves and Josh Koscheck for UFC 90, one of the most anticipated fights of the event with Koscheck taking the fight on 2 weeks notice for and injured Diego Sanchez.

That made absolutely no sense. why would they weigh in twice. and if someone want to cut their brains out to make weight, then let them. If you do not have to cut weight then you will have more day to eat, work on game plan, and feel good all the way up to the day of the fight. |

Would be nice if the UFC went to day of weigh ins... Im getting kinda tired of seeing guys weigh in at one weight then come fight time are two weight classes higher.. They should either go to day of weigh ins, or do day before weigh ins and then give the fighters a 10 lbs. allowance for the 2nd weigh in 2 hours before the fight.. So essentially the fighters make scratch weight the day before, then have to make a weight 10 pounds higher.. Its getting out of control how much weight these guys put on right before the fight.. Alves looked all of almost 195 lbs.. But it will never change tho, just me having wishful thinking.. |
